Vitalic regressa finalmente a Lisboa
O francês Vitalic, um nome absolutamente incontornável na história da música electrónica deste século, prepara o regresso a Lisboa na terça-feira dia 30 de Novembro (véspera de feriado). Com o lançamento do seu primeiro registo o “Poney EP“, Vitalic foi catapultado de um dia para o outro para o estrelato. As faixas contidas no EP são considerados clássicos entre os adeptos da música de dança - com destaque para as melodias épicas de “Poney pt. 1” e o groove furioso de ”La Rock 01“.
O sucesso do seu disco de estreia “OK Cowboy” cimentou a sua posição como visionário da electrónica e o seu último álbum “Flashmob” foi um grande consolo para os seus fãs que aguardaram durante anos por notícias do génio francês. Há 3 anos que Vitalic não actuava em Lisboa, facto que a produtora Soniculture não conseguiu ignorar, e por isso decidiu organizar esta vinda, depois de vários pedidos de fãs ansiosos por voltarem a dançar ao som do prodígio.
Por confirmar fica o espaço onde decorrerá a festa, mas podemos adiantar que a abertura das cerimónias será feita por Alif, N-Sekt e Expander.

Frenchman Vitalic, one of the global dance music scene’s biggest names, is heading to Lisbon on tuesday the 30th of November. Following the release the “Poney EP“, Vitalic was catapulted to international superstardom. The tracks contained on the EP were hailed as instant classics, especially when you take into consideration the epic melodies of “Poney pt.1” and the furious mindbending power of “La Rock 01“.
The success of his debut album “OK Cowboy” established him as one of electronica’s 21st century pioneers and his latest record “Flashmob” was a welcome relief for his fans who spent years awating new music from the french visionary. Vitalic has not performed in Lisbon for three years, a fact which promoters Soniculture could no longer ignore. After listnening to fans who were clamouring for Vitalic’s return, they decided to act. Os artistas que vêm ao Neopop não param de editar musica nova!
Adam Beyer acaba de lançar uma segunda colaboração com Alexi Delano na sua editora Drumcode. O EP Sleep Horn inclui as faixas Filthy Lobster, Grass Carpet e Sleep Horn. Para ouvir/comprar este lançamento, vai por aqui.
Na semana passada Par Grindvik (na foto) lançou na sua editora Stockholm LTD, um colaboração com Stefan Linzatti sob o nome The Rumours. O EP Prestige inclui duas faixas e conta com o apoio de artistas como Jesper Dahlback, Ambivalent, Gregor Tresher e Valentino Kanzyani, está agora disponível aqui.

Stereo Addiction storm festival stages this August
After their earthshaking and highly memorable participation at Serbia’s Exit Festival, Gustavo and John-E will be playing at Portugal’s biggest dance music festivals this August. First they will take to the stage at the Neopop festival in Viana Do Castelo on Thursday the 12th of August alongside 2000 and One, Vitalic and Ellen Allien. The dynamic duo will then head of to Idanha-a-Nova on the 25th of August for the world renowned Boom Festival where they will unleash their trademark sonic assault alongside such artists as A Guy Called Gerald, SQL, Minilogue and many others. August is shaping up to be a very memorable month for Stereo Addiction.

Neopop is Portugal’s biggest festival solely dedicated to underground dance music. This year the event will go down between the 12th and 14th of August at the Forte Santiago da Barra in Viana do Castelo. Tickets are now onsale everywhere, to acquire them online click here. Prices range from daily tickets at 20€ (25€ on the day) and 3 day passes at 40€ (50€ on the day of the event). The organisers have put together a truly epic lineup that includes a simply mindblowing combination of international artists and local heroes.
