Heartbreakerz na Festa Lee
A dupla mais denim de Portugal foi convidada para actuar na festa da marca Lee que acontece já esta 6ªF dia 27 Maio no Open Day do Lx Factory.
Chamam-lhe Fitting Party porque parece que podes experimentar, usar, comprar, encomendar a tua roupa Lee preferida, mas também haverá muito, mas mesmo muito funk, não fosse um dos artistas convidados o próprio Soldado Funk. Mas há também os Iconoclasts (Vencedores do Festival Termómetro) e o funk mais houseiro e tecnoide que Portugal alguma vez experimentou, pelas mãos das belas Heartbreakerz.
Os novos embaixadores da Lee também estarão presentes não se sabe bem é a fazer o quê… (who is she??)

Heartbreakerz marcam presença no Refresh Your Soul
Heartbreakerz, a dupla de DJs feminino mais explosivo de Portugal vai estar presente esta sexta-feira dia 18 de Junho na festa Refresh Your Soul na Sala das Colunas no LX Factory. Parte das receitas da venda das entradas vão reverter para o projecto de solidariedade internacional Pobreza 0. Outros nomes a integrar o cartaz são os Shack-a-Lack Soundsystem e os Innastereo. O after party oficial vai estar a cargo do DJ Fabinii. Os bilhetes estão à venda no Amoreiras Plaza (loja Rugby Spot), no bar dos Innastereo Second Floor (no Estoril) e através de 28 relações públicas segmentados por zonas de actuação (com os contactos no site do evento).
Super-grupo Moderat pela primeira vez em Lisboa
The 4th of June, has been chosen as the date for one of the most long-awaited events of 2010 in Portugal. The supergroup known as Moderat, formed by Modeselektor (Gernot Bronsert & Sebastian Szary) and Apparat (Sascha Ring), is finally coming to Lisbon. The trio got together in 2002 to produce an EP for Ellen Allien’s record label BPitch Control. After 6 years apart the group entered the studio, and after a year’s had work they unleashed their debut album on the world. Moderat then took to the road where they put together a show that includes stunning visuals by Pfadfinderei. Their mind-blowing live act saw them win Resident Advisor’s “Best Live Act” of 2009 award, beating stiff competition from Laurent Garnier, Booka Shade, Fever Ray and Mathew Jonson. Friday the 4th of June will see the trio perform for the first time in Portugal and they are sure to live up to expectations.
Joining Moderat on the evening will be 4 of Portugal’s most exciting DJs, including Stereo Addiction, Soniculture label founder Expander, Manu and a live act from DJ Ride/Beatbombers. Rounding out the event will be a DJ set from belgian techno whiz Peter Van Hoesen . For more info click here

Dia 4 de Junho, a Sala das Colunas no LX Factory vai ser palco de um dos espectáculos mais aguardados em Portugal. O super-projecto Moderat - uma colaboração entre Modeselektor (Gernot Bronsert e Sebastian Szary) e Apparat (Sascha Ring) - apresenta-se pela primeira vez no nosso país. O trio formou-se em 2002 para gravar um EP a lançar numa das maiores editoras de Berlin, a BPitch Control de Ellen Allien. Após seis anos de repouso, Modeselektor e Apparat voltaram a marcar encontro no estúdio. 1 ano depois lançam, em Abril de 2009, o seu disco de estreia iniciando então uma tournée mundial onde colaboram com o artista visual Pfadfinderei e que lhes rendeu o prémio de melhor live act de 2009 da Resident Advisor, destronando artistas como Laurent Garnier, Booka Shade, Fever Ray e Mathew Jonson. Dia 4 de Junho marca a sua estreia em terras lusas e o projecto promete arrasar com o público português.

O Baile vs. Kali Records
As mentes por trás de “O Baile” foram responsáveis pelas mais memoráveis festas de 2009. Em Londres, clubes como o Sketch e o Bar Music Hall , foram invadidos pelo som português de nomes como Octa Push, Stereo Addiction e Tetine. De volta a Portugal “O Baile” convidou, para tocar em Lisboa músicos como Micachu & The Shapes e Jon Hopkins. Em Novembro a festa de anos da Madame foi inesquecível. Agora estamos de volta para mais danças. Desta vez é o aniversário da Lumin e da Joana e ninguém pode perder a festa.
2010 promete trazer ao “Baile” nomes frescos e excitantes misturados com artistas já estabelecidos, como é o caso do próximo evento. Para começar o ano em grande, “O Baile” decidiu juntar-se a uma das maiores e mais respeitadas promotoras de Lisboa - a Kalimodjo. No sábado dia 13 de Fevereiro, fim de semana de carnaval e véspera de S. Valentim, a equipa vai ocupar o LX Factory com “O Baile” vs. Kali Records, um evento épico que vai funcionar em duas áreas diferentes para dar espaço a tanta música - o Faktory e a Sala das Colunas.
A lista de artistas convidados é fora do comum. Os cabeças de cartaz são os Radioclit, cujo último disco “The Very Best Album”fez a delícia da crítica inglesa, os Plaid, um dos grandes nomes da música electrónica associados à editora Warp Records e o jovem produtor e DJ americano B.Rich
Mas não é tudo, o aquecimento vai contar com vários representantes do melhor que se faz a nível de música electrónica em Portugal - DJ Ride, Octa Push, Drop Top, Zombies For Money, Zeder, Twofold, Nokin, Quayola, Refill e Jameson Yeah. Não se esqueçam de reservar a data, porque esta vai ser, sem dúvida, uma das grandes festas de 2010.

Saturday the 13th of February is the chosen date for a truly remarkable event, which will surely go down as one of the greatest parties of 2010. Madame & Lumin have joined forces with like-minded promoters Kalimodjo to bring you a unique evening of music - Baile vs. Kali Records.
The team will be taking over LX Factory in Alcântara, as an event of this magnitude requires two venues - Faktory and the huge Sala das Colunas. On the weekend of Carnaval, and in the spirit of Portugal’s cheekiest holiday, the space will be sparkled in red for the best Carnaval and Valentines Day Ball Lisbon has never seen.
The lineup has to be seen to be believed and will include Radioclit, Plaid and B.Rich as the headlining acts.
The support acts have been hand picked by Madame, Lumin and the Kalimodjo crew from among the finest Portugal has to offer and include DJ Ride, Octa Push, Drop Top, Zombies For Money, Zeder, Twofold, Nokin, Quayola, Refill and Jameson Yeah.
So make sure to save the date, because “O Baile” vs. Kali Records is shaping up to be one of the greatest parties of 2010!
Cabaret Xmas Party powered by Madame
A noite de Natal já não é a mesma sem uma festa Cabaret powered by Madame.
Ao peru e ao bacalhau da ceia de Natal junta-se um cocktail de artistas nacionais a representar o que melhor se faz de musica no nosso país, num espaço totalmente decorado a rigor para esta importante ocasião.
Sexta feira, dia 25 de Dezembro a festa é no Lx Factory. Quem se lembra da festa original do ano passado no Teatro Ibérico, sabe que esta noite é um must have natalicio. E para as centenas de pessoas que ficaram ao frio fora da festa, sugerimos que se despachem a abrir os presentes de Natal e que deixem a sobremesa para mais tarde para que não aconteça o mesmo…pois a festa começa cedo e promete incendiar a pista do Lx logo de inicio, não fosse Dj Ride (www.myspace.com/ridept) o responsável por abrir as hostilidades.
Dj Ride é o nosso campeão nacional de scratch que tem tido um ano pleno de sucesso, com convites para actuar no estrangeiro, uma edição de um novo disco, é aclamado pela crítica nacional, e fez uma colaboração com Kika Santos para o tema “U Fill Me” que está em alta rotação nas rádios portuguesas e na MTV. Para celebrar este ano em cheio, Ride decidiu juntar-se à festa de natal Cabaret.
De seguida e porque festa com um dedo de Madame, tem a presença quase obrigatória das duplas mais famosas de Portugal.. a dupla feminina Heartbreakerz e a dupla de rapazes mais internacionais que temos em solo nacional, Stereo Addiction. As duplas partilham ainda a cabine com o mais recente e talentoso representante do novo sangue da musica de dança em Portugal, Twofold.

Christmas just wouldn’t be the same thing without a Cabaret event powered by Madame.
After filling up on turkey and bacalhau, be sure to make your way down to Alcântara for a night filled with the best that Portugal’s burgeoning dance music scene has to offer, in a space that will be decorated down to the smallest detail to ensure that this year’s event will be even bigger, bolder and better than last year’s legendary Cabaret Christmas evening.
On Friday the 25th of December, the mother of all christmas parties will be at Lx Factory. For those of you who remember last years’ epic bash at Teatro Ibérico then you will know that this is the one event you don’t want to miss this year, and, for those many hundreds who didn’t make it in last year, make sure to arrive early and to leave your desserts for after the party to ensure you are not left out in the cold. DJ Ride has had a hugely successful 2009, his unbelievable skills behind the decks have led to many invitations to play abroad, he put out a new album that was lauded by portuguese critics far and wide as one of the records of the year, and he has released a collaboration with Kika Santos entitled “U Fill Me” which is on non-stop rotation on all major portuguese radios and MTV.
Since this event has a subtle hint of the old Madame magic, the Cabaret christmas DJ booth will once again welcome Portugal’s two biggest DJ duos; Heartbreakerz, who will be bringing their uniquely feminine brand of dancefloor magic to the evening’s proceedings, and Stereo Addiction whose headlining spot at last years’ event is still talked about in hushed tones. Joining the awesome foursome, will be one of Portugal’s newest and most promising DJ’s of 2009, Twofold.
