Os Stereo Addiction como sabem actuaram nos festivais TMN Sudoeste (7 de Agosto) e no Maré de Agosto (20 de Agosto, Açores). Todos os sets foram gravados e estão prontos a serem ouvidos, basta fazer assim: ir ao itunes > clicar em itunes store > podcasts e na janela de pesquisa: Stereo Addiction > subscrever “for free” o podcast deles. Junho – The Correspondents voltam a Lisboa para a inauguração do Clube Ferroviário. O Sónar Galicia também aconteceu em Junho e a Madame teve o enorme prazer de trabalhar com a equipa do festival, ao fazer toda a comunicação e assessoria de imprensa para o evento.

Rui da Silva apresenta Junkie Wife e “Gotta Move On”
2011 promete ser um grande ano para Rui da Silva. O produtor prepara-se para lançar música nova sob o nome Junkie Wife. O projecto marca uma mudança de sonoridade com a reinterpretação e remistura de grandes êxitos do disco, funk e power pop. O primeiro single “Gotta Move On” transforma o clássico “Funkytown” de Lipps Inc. num monstro de pista pronto a causar a histeria colectiva em clubes pelo mundo fora. O tema funde o groove explosivo do house actual com o funk da época disco e vai ser lançado através da Kismet Records no dia 7 de Fevereiro de 2011. 2011 is shaping up to be a great year for Rui da Silva. The portuguese über-producer is getting ready to unleash some massive new tunes under the alias Junkie Wife. The new project will see Rui take disco, pop and funk hits and rejuvenate them with his own unique dance sound.
“Gotta Move On“, the first single in 2 years from the renowned DJ and producer, is a disco-infused, dance anthem. Sampling the 1979 funk/disco classic by Lipps Inc. Da Silva has transformed “Funkytown” into a fresh, feel-good funk/dance crossover that will light up every club in every city in 2011.

Rui da Silva, the godfather of portuguese house music is getting ready to relaunch his label Kismet with the release of the “Uniform Ring” E.P.
The record contains two tracks, the first - titled “Derivative” is the first by Steve Longwill - A fantastic deep house cut that is as atmospheric as it is groovy. “It’s always hard to me to explain what I exactly do within The Exit festival. I have that problem to be defined. You may say I am here cause I am fashionably outdated. I am contributing to image – like Queen to England : )
My relation with music is organic – everything I do or think about has its soundtrack – I can’t imagine it to be other way. Still, I can’t play any instrument. But I sing all the time. My first favorite band were The Beatles. I was 6 year old and I saw A Hard Day’s Night on TV.”
What is your all time favorite record?
I don’t think I have all time favorite record – it’s changing. So far, my favorite all time records were Ziggy Stardust – David Bowie, Brazil Classic, Beleza Tropical – Various Artists… Are we talking only about LPs? I’ve never been and LP guy. My favorite all time songs will “I Wanna Be Your Dog”, “Pretty Vacant”, “You Make Me Feel” (Mighty Real), “Blue Monday”….
What song would you get up at 7 in the morning to hear? Many, but probably “Teenage Kicks” by The Undertones more than any other. “Vulindlela” by Brenda Fassie too!
What do you think is the best song to ever come out of Servia? “U Ovom Gradu Svi Su Ludi” by Obojeni Program.
What is the sound of You? “Turn My Way” by New Order (at least I like to thin so : ))
What do you like most about Exit, the event in general? That it’s impossible and is still happening..

Madame exporta as suas Soirées para a Sérvia
The Madame Soirées are a series of events that have gained a huge cult following in Lisbon. Every Friday for the past two months, Madame has invited the finest DJs Lisbon has to offer to play DJ sets at the Miradouro S. Pedro de Alcântara which overlooks Portugal’s beautiful capital city. From 18:00 until 21:00, the music doesn’t stop and these events have provided Lisbon’s party people with a great way to kick off the weekends. With no fixed style, the Madame Soirées have hosted DJ sets that have spanned a wide variety of electronic music genres from house, to techno, even drum and bass! Now Madame will be bringing this concept to the Exit Festival’s V.I.P zone on the 9th of July. Music will be provided by two of Portugal’s most groundbreaking dance music acts - the powerhouse duo known as Stereo Addiction and Portugal’s DMC Scratch champion DJ Ride. The three artists will also be taking Madame & Lumin’s “O Baile” to the Suba Stage on the 10th of July alongside :papercutz and Rui da Silva.

Rui da Silva, one of Portugal’s most respected and influential producers, is gearing up to release a new track under the alias Crazy Love. The tune takes it’s name from the new identity under which the portuguese master producer will release it, and is sure to be huge hit this summer with DJs and clubbers all over Europe. “O Baile” will be hitting the Exit Festival which goes down every year in the city of Novi Sad in Serbia and is eastern europe’s biggest music festival. Madame and Lumin received an invitation to take their “O Baile” concept to the Suba Stage on saturday the 10th of July. The girls were tasked with choosing a select group of artists who they felt could best represent Portugal’s burgeoning underground music scene. The lineup consists of Rui Da Silva, :papercutz, Stereo Addiction and the recently confirmed DJ Ride. Portugal’s DMC champion rounds out the spectacular lineup that will be bringing “O Baile” to an international audience.

“O Baile” will take it’s first steps towards internationalization in July of this year. Madame and Lumin have handpicked a comittee of Portuguese artists to storm one of the many stages at this year’s Exit Festival which will go down in the city of Novi Sad in Serbia and is by far the most interesting event of it’s type in eastern europe.
The artists chosen to represent the best of Portugal’s underground music scene, who will join a lineup that already includes such international superstars as Royksopp, LCD Soundsystem, The Chemical Brothers, Ricardo Villalobos, Josh Wink and Moderat, are Papercutz, Rui Da Silva, Stereo Addiction and a fourth name that will be announced shortly.
The Exit festival will go down between the 8th and 11th of July. Da Providers & Madame back together promoting national talent
Saturday April 4th marks the return of one of the most renowned names in dance music to Lisbon. Da Providers have chosen Club Domus to host another of their legendary events, headlined this time by Rui Da Silva, with support from Stereo Addiction and Bart Cruz & Henriq.
Rui Da Silva is one of Portugal’s most celebrated producers. With his latest track, a collaboration with Craig Richards, being released on Guido Schneider’s MotivBank label, Rui Da Silva promises to shake up the proceedings at Club Domus with his unmistakable sound.
After a triumphant 2008, Stereo Addiction are gearing up to make this upcoming year as successful as the last. They will soon be releasing their new single “Shades Of Light” on Kasey Taylor’s eVapour8 label and they have a list of exciting gigs coming up. In their early years, Gustavo and John-e were an integral part of Da Providers DJ team. They consider the parties thrown by the maverick promoters as a sort of “spiritual home” and it is with great pleasure that they once again take to the DJ booth at one of their events.
Bart Cruz, head of Feed Me Records, and Henriq will be playing a special back to back set at this event. The two have been friends for years, however they have only been deejaying together since 2008. They have a wealth of experience between them and their coming together has been a long time coming. Hailed far and wide as one of London’s premier club nights, Always Fridays proudly brings you another fantastic night of music with yet another stunning lineup that has to be seen to be believed!
Friday, the 27th of February will be headlined by Italy’s The Bloody Beetroots, famous for their dancefloor smashing electro bangers, this eclectic duo need no introduction as they are already well known to London’s club savvy masses. Bringing up the rear are Kitsune Records’ golden boys du jour Punks Jump Up and Med Damon.
The 27th of February also marks the return of one of London’s hottest underground record labels to The Egg in King’s Cross - Kismet Records is the brainchild of Rui Da Silva, who, after the huge worldwide success of club super anthem “So Get Up” and solo smash hit “Touch Me”, decided to create a platform from which he could help launch the careers of a whole host of fresh new talent, handpicked by the man himself.
After releasing music by the likes of minimal techno masterminds Sleeper Thief and Matt Tolfrey, among many others, the label head turned his attention to young up and coming producers Stereo Addiction. This dynamic DJ duo is known far and wide for their explosive and unforgettable sets that once you step onto their dancefloor, you won’t want to leave until they do. Rui´s confidence in the talent of the young duo is such that he signed them up for three releases.
Joining Stereo Addiction at The Egg will be London-based Jacob Husley who has just launched Wet Yourself parties at Fabric.
Rounding out the the Kismet lineup , label boss Rui Da Silva will be manning the decks to bring us a taste of his unique stylings, making this a truly unmissable night for fans of quality dance music.

Valentine’s Day marks the return, not only of Kismet Records to the sunny shores of Portugal, but of Stereo Addiction to the glass box on the docks - Op Art. This weekend the prodigal duo are returning to the hippest underground club in Lisbon after what seems like too long; older, wiser, and louder. Joining them for this occasion is legendary ex-Underground Sound Of Lisbon member, and head of Kismet, Rui da Silva.
The label was formed in 1999 and has released music by such diverse acts as Sleeper Thief, Husley & Gunz, and, most recently, Stereo Addiction.
In what promises to be a night full of memorable moments, the three DJs team up to make sure that Op Art will be the place to be on Valentine’s Day.
