A festa é no dia 5 de Março, no Space (o de Lisboa) e conta na cabine com pesos nacionais como Riot, por exemplo, mas tem também Live painting e uma Exposição de todos os posters que foram desenhados para a DP.

Madame participa na Midsummer Music Conference
The Midsummer Music Conference, which was held on the 30th and 31st of July in the Póvoa de Varzim just outside Oporto, was designed to be a meeting of minds among Portugal’s dance music movers and shakers - from artists to managers and beyond. The event hosted a series of debates to explore the ins and outs of the national electronic music scene. Among the participants are artists such as Pete Tha Zouk, Pedro Cazanova, Tiago Fragateiro and Overule, among others, discussed a wide variety of topics from “Electronic Music Production” to “Technology vs. Talent“. Madame was invited to participate as guest speaker on the 30th of July at the debate focused on “Management and Career Guidance” that was geared towards exploring a variety of perspectives from a group of Portugal’s leading managers on how to help an artist breakthrough. Madame was also invited to moderate a debate centered around “The Industry“.
The conference also served to showcase DJ sets by some of the worlds leading electronic music artists, with performances from Above & Beyond, Felix da Housecat, Sharam, Derrick May, and Shlomi Aber alongside portuguese artists such as Re:Axis, Riot (Buraka Som Sistema) and many others. A Midsummer Music Conference que decorre de 30 a 31 de Julho na Póvoa do Varzim, vai servir de ponto de encontro da indústria musical electrónica portuguesa. O objectivo deste encontro passa por debater e dar a conhecer os meandros e as pessoas que constituem a cena nacional. A participar nos debates vão estar nomes como Sónia Silvestre (editora da Dance Club) e artistas como Pete Tha Zouk, Pedro Cazanova, Riot, Tiago Fragateiro, e Overule a discutir assuntos variados desde a “Produção de musica electrónica” a “Tecnologia VS Talento”. Lisbon Militia - Vhils After Show Party

On Thursday the 2nd of July, Madame will bring you yet another mind-blowing night of music. Lisbon Militia will be the after party celebrating the opening of the new exhibition by Portugal’s most unique, up and coming visual artist, Vhils.
Headlining the event will be Buraka Som Sistema’s very own DJ Riot, well known around the world for his intoxicating blend of booty shaking rhythms and powerful beats.
Joining DJ Riot will be DJ Ride, Portugal’s DMC champion, his unparalleled scratching skills have seen him play gigs all over europe and he has just released his first record on OPTIMUS DISCOS (which you can download for free here) to critical acclaim.
The evening will be rounded out by a set from DJ Glue, the man behind the turntables for Portugal’s biggest hip hop crew Da Weasel.
Lisbon Militia will take place on Thursday, the 2nd of July at Bar Rumba on Shaftesbury Avenue, from 21:30 onwards. This is one party you cannot afford to miss.

Vhils is a young Portuguese (street) artist, part of the Lazarides gallery, whose names include Jamie Hewlett, Banksy, 3D, Mark Jenkins, just to name a few.
Scratching the Surface is the exhibition he is preparing to open Thursday 2nd July at Lazarides Gallery. The after show party will be a one evening event at Bar Rumba.
The event will combine the celebration of his new exhibition, his latest artwork, originals and prints and music. Vhils has invited RIOT (Faster Music/Buraka Som Sistema), Dj RIDE (4 times national champion at Turntablism/Scratch) and Dj GLUE (Da Weasel) who will be present to deliver the urban soundscape that gave rise to Vhil´s art.
