Última Madame Soirée e Black Dynamite nº5!
With a tear in our eyes we bid farewell to the Madame Soirées, the event that has given Lisbon’s party people an excuse to start the weekend early. For 7 Months, 30 DJ’s played 90 hours of music that varied from House, grime, techno, dubstep, disco, funk and many others. Even a sheep got in on the action. Unfortunately with winter on our doorstep we are now forced to say “see you in 2011″. For our last hurrah we have invited DJ Gipsy to man the decks at Lisbon’s Miradouro S. Pedro de Alcântara. Gipsy is a truly eclectic DJ, to say the least, he will drop a house track one minute, splice in a funky bomb, switch it up with a little hip hop the next minute and top everything off with something more soulful. His sets are always unpredictable, however the results are always the same - a packed dancefloor. So join us this friday the 29th of October from 18:00 to 21:00 to say goodbye and farewell for now to the Madame Soirées.
For those of you who wish to continue to party into the small hours, we recommend a visit to OpArt for the 5th edition of the Black Dynamite party where Gustavo and John-E of Stereo Addiction join forces with Kaesar. The concept was born when the three friends decided they wanted to do something different. Inspired by old 70’s “Blaxploitation” movies and by the soul and groove of the more revolutionary side of house music, the guys decided they needed to bring something to Lisbon that has been lacking for a while - soul. The task is made easier by the three DJs who are almost like family, united behind the decks with a singular vision. There is only one rule: everyone in attendance must wear a wig. The DJs who always bring their wigs communicate with each other and the crowd through the music they play. So make sure not to miss this awesome event going down this friday the 29th of October from midnight onwards.

É com uma lágrima ao canto do olho que fechamos o ciclo de 2010 das Madame Soirées, o evento que deu aos habitantes de Lisboa e a muitos turistas, uma boa razão para começar o fim-de-semana mais cedo.
Foram 7 meses, 30 finais de tarde com 30 Djs diferentes que nos deram 90 horas de musica. House, grime, techno, dubstep, disco, funk sempre a marcar pela batida agitada daquelas que animam.
Até uma ovelha passou pela pista!
Infelizmente com o inverno a aproximar-se a passos rápidos somos obrigados a dizer “até 2011”. Para esta despedida convidámos ao Miradouro S. Pedro de Alcântara, Gipsy, residente do Tamariz e Jezebel.
Gipsy pode estar num dia funk, ou mais soul, ou mais house, pode até apetecer-lhe passar pelo hip hop que nós aceitamos com prazer. Sabemos que nestas Soirées tudo pode acontecer.
Esta 6ªF, dia 29 de Outubro, das 18h às 21h, juntem-se a nós, sem lágrimas, e com muita energia.
Para quem quer continuar a festa pela noite dentro recomenda-se uma visita ao OpArt para a 5ª edição da festa Black Dynamite que junta na cabine John-E, Gustavo e Kaesar. O conceito nasceu quando os três amigos decidiram que queriam fazer algo diferente. Inspirados pelo cinema “Blaxploitation” dos anos 70 e pelo o groove e soul do house mais revolucionário, decidiram trazer à noite lisboeta algo que faltava há muito tempo – alma. A tarefa está facilitada porque é feita pela mão de três pessoas, que são mais que uma família, atrás da mesma cabine e com a mesma vontade. Não erra.
Apenas um requisito é necessário: O uso incondicional de uma boa peruca. É que nesta festa a peruca é rainha, e os djs – que a usam incondicionalmente - comunicam uns com os outros através da música no seu sentido mais puro.
Já esta sexta-feira dia 29, a partir da meia noite e sem hora para acabar.
Heartbreakerz mágicas e em Arraias
Já este próximo Sábado dia 16 de Outubro, as Heartbreakerz vão subir à cabine do OpArt para mais um Arraial da Universidade Lusíada onde vão mostrar a todos, caloiros e finalistas, o quão extraordinário pode ser, ficar de coração arrasado.
Na semana seguinte, Quinta-Feira, dia 21, a dupla vai participar na festa de abertura da mais recente loja da Magic Mushroom ( Rua da Atalaia no Bairro Alto) ao lado de Alif, Peter Wagner, Refill e muitos outros.

Ida Engberg in Lisbon with Portugal’s hippest female DJ duo Heartbreakerz
Saturday the 20th of June will mark the summer’s first Open Air party at OpArt. Lx Music presents Stockholm Goes To Lisbon 2 with Ida Engberg. The young Swedish DJ who shot to infamy with her underground hit “Disco Volante” will be gracing the decks with her inimitable blend of deep house, electro, funky techno, minimal, and tech house. She is one of the best selling artists on John Dahlback’s Pickadoll label and will surely bring a mindblowing climax to the proceedings.
Joining Ida Engberg in the booth will be Portugal’s favourite female DJ duo, Heartbreakerz. 2009 is shaping up to be a big year for Analodjica and Kokeshi who are always up for rocking any dance floor. The year started with a breathtaking gig in Paris which left the french clubbers wanting more, and with upcoming gigs in London and in the electronic tent at Portugal’s biggest music festival Sudoeste, the girls will definitely be bringing their A-Game to OpArt.
The evening will be rounded out by a performance from Lx Music resident Master Soul along with DJ Itnash. What will you be doing this saturday?
