Stereo Addiction storm festival stages this August
After their earthshaking and highly memorable participation at Serbia’s Exit Festival, Gustavo and John-E will be playing at Portugal’s biggest dance music festivals this August. First they will take to the stage at the Neopop festival in Viana Do Castelo on Thursday the 12th of August alongside 2000 and One, Vitalic and Ellen Allien. The dynamic duo will then head of to Idanha-a-Nova on the 25th of August for the world renowned Boom Festival where they will unleash their trademark sonic assault alongside such artists as A Guy Called Gerald, SQL, Minilogue and many others. August is shaping up to be a very memorable month for Stereo Addiction.
A Day At The Beach
No Sábado dia 5 de Junho, a Praia do Castelo na Costa da Caparica vai ser o local de uma das festas do verão de 2010. A Day At The Beach vai começar a partir das 13:00 e a acabar às 06:00 do dia seguinte!
O line-up conta com a presença da nata da música electrónica portuguesa actual. Os eleitos para animar este dia na praia são Twofold, Pedro Zoy, Bart Cruz, John-E, Analodjica, The GhostBastards, Tó Ricciardi, Kasey Taylor, Gustavo Rodrigues, Henriq e Kayashi. Com um sistema de som Funktion One e acesso livre até às 22:00 não há desculpa para perder esta festa.
Madame Soirées continuam até ao fim de Julho
The Madame Soirées which have been going down for the past two months every friday at Lisbon’s Miradouro S. Pedro de Alcântara will now go on during the months of June and July with a host of new names confirmed. First up will be John-E & Gustavo on the 4th of June. Next up will be highly respected producer and DJ, part of the bloop recordings collective, Magazino on the 11th of June. On the 18th of June, Pedro Zoy will be taking to the decks, followed on the 25th by Alif and then Felix da Cat on the 2nd of July.

As Madame Soirées, que têm decorrido todas as sextas feiras a partir das 18:00 no Miradouro S. Pedro de Alcântara, vão continuar nos próximos 2 meses, com nomes novos anunciados para o meses de Junho e Julho. A começar em grande com uma dupla que não precisa de apresentação, John-E e Gustavo sobem à cabine do Miradouro no dia 4 de Junho. Na semana seguinte - 11 de Junho – é a vez de um dos produtores e DJs, da equipa maravilha da Bloop Recordings, Magazino. Mais nomes confirmados são Pedro Zoy (18 de Junho), Alif (25 de Junho) e Felix da Cat (2 de Julho).

Stereo Addiction are gearing up to release the “Shades Of Light” E.P. The title track has already been immortalised in a video, directed by Daniel Vyskoc and produced by Stink Factory, that sees Portugal’s biggest DJ duo in the role steal a record from Rough Trade in Brick Lane a run through the streets of London. “Shades Of Light” will be released on Kasey Taylor’s eVapour8 label with the track “Dee-troit” on the B-Side. The E.P will be available on Beatport from the 7th of June.

A faixa já teve direito a videoclip, realizado por Daniel Vyskoc, produzido pela Stink Factory e com uma participação de Gustavo e John-E a roubarem discos na Rough Trade e a serem obrigados a correr pelas ruas de Londres. “Shades Of Light” vai ser editado pela eVapour8 records de Kasey Taylor e inclui também, no lado B, o tema “Dee-troit“, da mesma dupla. Stereo Addiction no Optimus Hype
Stereo Addiction have been invited to join the lineup at the first of a series of events hosted by portuguese telecommunications company Optimus to widen the apreciation of quality dance music. These evenings are known as Optimus Hype and the first of the six events will take place on the 2nd of June in Lisbon’s Museu da Carris. The headliners will be Loco Dice, Gaiser, Robert Dietz and Reboot. Along with Stereo Addiction, a whole list of cutting edge artists have been chosen from among the cream of Lisbon’s underground music scene including Expander, Kaesar & Pedro Zoy and Analodjica.

As Madame Soirées no Miradouro S. Pedro de Alcântara já arrancaram e a primeira edição foi um sucesso estrondoso com centenas de pessoas a aderir ao conceito. Tal como prometido está agora disponível para download o set de Twofold. Devido ao mau tempo previsto para esta sexta-feira, dia 16 de Abril, o set de Gustavo e John-E vai ser adiado para dia 4 de Junho. O resto da programação mantem-se inalterada, a próxima data será no dia 23 de Abril com Henriq dos Da Providers aos comandos da cabine do Miradouro.

Madame apresenta noite nova em Lisboa
Na Sexta-feira dia 26 de Março, Madame apresenta a noite Face Oculta em Lisboa. O evento terá lugar numa das casas mais antigas de Lisboa, a discoteca Stones. Antes do 25 de Abril, antes do Plateau , antes dos “K” invadirem Lisboa, antes do Frágil, inaugurou o Stones na Lapa, este é sem duvida o espaço indicado para este evento que conta com um conjunto de artistas bastante ecléctico.
A noite começa às 22h30, com o concerto de Frankie Chavez a fazer a apresentação do seu novo EP, que vai ser editado em breve pela Optimus Discos. Espera-se 1 hora do melhor Blues/Folk que Portugal tem para oferecer . Este one man show traz consigo uma guitarra e bateria que juntas são bem capazes de proporcionar o ambiente mais psicadélico da musica portuguesa. A não perder.
A noite segue com Vitor Belanciano, o critico de música, em versão DJ. Não sabemos o que nos espera deste set, tudo pode acontecer… é ver e ouvir para crer.
De seguida, Piñacolada promete aquecer corações e pés na pista com a sua mistura muito própria de house e techno.

Stereo Addiction have been invited to take over the airwaves at Mix FM on the Karmicsounds Radio Show next Thursday, the 11th of March. Gustavo and John-E will be bringing their dancefloor destroying blend of tech house, electro and techno to Mix FM, from 01:00 AM onwards so be sure to tune into 103.0 FM to check out an exclusive set you won’t hear anywhere else.
