Aromamusic edita Stereo Addiction
A música que deu origem a um dos videoclips mais picantes e apaixonados de 2010 (presença quase diária na MTV e nomeado para os prémios Offbeatz) – “Human” de Stereo Addiction - vai ter edição digital pela Aromamusic de Berlim, no dia 20 de Maio. O lado B tem o tema “I AM“, uma faixa produzida o ano passado e um segredo bem guardado até agora.
As duas musicas foram feitas a pensar estritamente na pista de dança e ao serem editadas na Primavera, podem bem vir a ficar marcadas como “clássicos do Verão 2011”.
Ainda antes deste release, mais produções nacionais sairão dos computadores dos seus mentores e serão lançados no mercado pela mesma editora alemã - “Lisbon Flavours” - procura mostrar o que de melhor se faz na capital portuguesa a nível de música underground electrónica.

The track that provided the inspiration for one of the most provocative and sultry music videos of 2010 (with daily rotation on MTV portugal and a nomination at the Offbeatz awards), Stereo Addiction’s “Human“, will now be released by berlin-based label Aromamusic on the 20th of May. The B-side will be the duo’s secret weapon “I AM“, which was produced last year but remained unreleased until now. The two tracks are fully geared towards the dance-floor and their mid-spring release puts them in the perfect position to gain widespread notoriety during the summer season.
Before this release, Aromamusic will be putting out more portuguese music with their “Lisbon Flavours” compilation, which will be a showcase for the best underground electronic music the city has to offer.

Stereo Addiction’s video for “Human“, directed by Luís Alegre, produced by Buenos Aires Films and Madame Management and starring 40 couples (including fans and friends of the DJ duo) has taken on a life of it’s own. On Youtube, where it was first released, it has already reached 12.000 views. The video was recently nominated for the Offbeatz festival, it’s in rotation on SIC Radical’s Dance TV and has now hit MTV’s Hitlist. Here at Madame Management, we are rallying the fans to vote en masse for the video to try and get Portugal’s favourite DJ duo to the top of the MTV charts. Stereo Addiction’s video for their track “Human” was selected for participation in the OFFBEATZ festival that was put together with the intent of supporting and promoting cutting edge musical endeavours. The festival takes place every thursday at 22:00 at club Frágil in Lisbon’s Bairro Alto and showcases 2 projects/bands, two new music videos selected from among the best that Portugal’s music scene has to offer, 1 cult/classic music video, 1 record label and 1 special guest. Entry is free. Every month, the winners of the various categories are awarded with widespread promotion across various networks that the OFFBEATZ LISBOA festival has partnerships with including Portugal’s top alternative radio - Radar, DIF magazine and MTV.

O festival OFFBEATZ acontece todas as quintas- feiras, pelas 22h, no clube Frágil, no Bairro Alto, e convida 2 projectos musicais, 2 videoclips da nova geração do panorama musical português, 1 videoclip de culto, 1 editora discográfica e 1 convidado especial do meio. A entrada é livre. Stereo Addiction’s new video for their latest track “Human” debuted a few hours ago at the start of their storming DJ set at Portugal’s biggest music festival, Sudoeste. The boys set the Groovebox stage on fire and their performance began with the video playing on the big screens. For everyone who wasn’t there, you can now watch it right here. Directed by Luís Alegre and produced by Buenos Aires and Madame, “Human” stars a select group of friends, fans and family and represents yet another step on Stereo Addiction’s path to world domination.
