Madame participa na Midsummer Music Conference

The Midsummer Music Conference, which was held on the 30th and 31st of July in the Póvoa de Varzim just outside Oporto, was designed to be a meeting of minds among Portugal’s dance music movers and shakers - from artists to managers and beyond. The event hosted a series of debates to explore the ins and outs of the national electronic music scene. Among the participants are artists such as Pete Tha Zouk, Pedro Cazanova, Tiago Fragateiro and Overule, among others, discussed a wide variety of topics from “Electronic Music Production” to “Technology vs. Talent“. Madame was invited to participate as guest speaker on the 30th of July at the debate focused on “Management and Career Guidance” that was geared towards exploring a variety of perspectives from a group of Portugal’s leading managers on how to help an artist breakthrough. Madame was also invited to moderate a debate centered around “The Industry“.

The conference also served to showcase DJ sets by some of the worlds leading electronic music artists, with performances from Above & Beyond, Felix da Housecat, Sharam, Derrick May, and Shlomi Aber alongside portuguese artists such as Re:Axis, Riot (Buraka Som Sistema) and many others. A Midsummer Music Conference que decorre de 30 a 31 de Julho na Póvoa do Varzim, vai servir de ponto de encontro da indústria musical electrónica portuguesa. O objectivo deste encontro passa por debater e dar a conhecer os meandros e as pessoas que constituem a cena nacional. A participar nos debates vão estar nomes como Sónia Silvestre (editora da Dance Club) e artistas como Pete Tha Zouk, Pedro Cazanova, Riot, Tiago Fragateiro, e Overule a discutir assuntos variados desde a “Produção de musica electrónica” a “Tecnologia VS Talento”.
